Key to the activity of any organization is the necessity to make known to the public the essence of its existence, and since the essence of the Law Clinic is to provide pro bono legal aid to the indigent members of the society, the need for the people to be aware of the help which the Law Clinic renders, when, where and how to get access to this service is of utmost importance. It was this drive that led to the establishment of the Awareness Group. The Group was saddled with the following mandates: • Strategizing different means of disseminating information about the Clinic’s existence, functions and objectives. • Organize outreaches and identify communities where the Clinic may need to undertake public seminars, outreaches and enlightenment programmes. • Design a programme in relation to this mandate. The coverage area is Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
